How ToolPinch calculates and reviews results

Our calculators are designed to make salary, spending and time easier to understand without pretending that an estimate is personal financial advice.

Inputs stay on your device

Calculator inputs are processed in your browser. ToolPinch does not require an account and does not intentionally transmit the salary or expense values entered into these tools.

Formulas are explained

Every calculator page states its core method, provides a worked example and identifies important assumptions. Currency formatting follows the visitor's browser while calculations use the numeric values entered.

Take-home income is preferred

Personal spending decisions are usually clearer when based on take-home pay. Gross income may still be appropriate when comparing compensation or using a lender-specific formula.

Results are estimates

Taxes, public holidays, inflation, investment performance and local costs vary. Tools exclude these variables unless a page explicitly includes them.

Review process

We test default examples, invalid inputs, mobile layouts, canonical URLs and structured data before release. Material formula changes receive a new review date.

Corrections

If a formula or explanation appears incorrect, contact us with the calculator URL, entered values and expected result. We review reproducible reports and document material corrections.
