A date 14 calendar days ago returns two full weeks and zero extra days.
Across leap day
A span crossing February 29 in a leap year contains one more calendar day than the comparable non-leap-year span.
Frequently asked questions
Does the count include the starting date?
No. It measures elapsed days, so the selected starting date is day zero. Add one when you specifically need an inclusive count of occupied dates.
What happens if I select today?
The result is zero elapsed days.
Can I enter a future date?
No. This page is designed for dates in the past; use Weeks Until or Date Difference for a future date.
Does daylight saving affect the answer?
The dates are compared at local noon to prevent one-hour clock changes from altering the calendar-day total.
Limitations
The starting date is day zero; use Date Difference when you need to compare two custom dates.
